Paint-IT-Out |
SEED’s Public Art Program was initiated in 1982 to enhance neighborhoods with community inspired public art projects.
What
began as a foundry program in 1994, has expanded to encompass three main areas: Public Art Workshop, Public Art Urban Space Enterprise (PAUSE), and Paint-It-Out.

Public Art Workshop creates site-specific, culturally relevant art in public spaces by partnering professional artists with at-risk youth from underserved Southeast Seattle communities to design, fabricate and install public art projects in their own neighborhoods.

Public Art Urban Space Enterprise (PAUSE) is a public art service of SouthEast Effective Development (SEED) that works with non-profit and commercial developers, community groups, and government agencies. PAUSE partners these stakeholders with professional artists for consulting, design, fabrication, and installation services. |

SEED in collaboration with King County Superior Courts Community Program is offering a Graffiti PAINT-OUT service to SE Seattle businesses and property owners. Our goal is to remove graffiti from private property as quickly as possible in order to improve neighborhoods and discourage further graffiti.
