Rainier Valley Cultural Center
SouthEast Seattle’s premiere community performing arts center, RVCC presents multicultural performing arts events and hosts Arts Gumbo, the Rainier Valley Youth Theatre Summer Arts Camps and Brownbox Theatre. RVCC also offers rental space for community events, meetings and productions.

Arts Gumbo
Mixing the sights, sounds and flavors of diverse world cultures: Arts Gumbo is an annual performing arts series that serves up a mixture of diverse cultures, different art forms, distinctive cuisine, unique ideas and common issues. Presented in the fall, the Arts Gumbo Series takes place at the Rainier Valley Cultural Center in Columbia City.

Public Art Program
We connect professional artists with developers and community groups to design, fabricate and install artworks in public and private spaces. Also, we coordinate youth art workshops for both public and private educational institutions and other community organizations.
