ARTS & CULTURE

SEEDArts believes in the power of art in building community. We offer visual, performing and public art programs that inspire and connect residents and visitors of Southeast Seattle.

Our programs provide

  • Professional arts opportunities for wide range of artists, residents and youth to develop their artistic talents;
  • Exposure to quality arts experiences that highlight our diverse cultural community;
  • Enhance open spaces and the urban environment with art in public places;
  • Support community-based artists with facilities in which to work, perform, exhibit and teach.

The Columbia City Gallery is an artists’ cooperative that brings together emerging and professional artists working in diverse media. The Gallery provides exhibit space for local artists, a Guest Gallery for community exhibits and a gift shop featuring locally made jewelry and functional home décor.

Rainier Arts Center
The Rainier Arts Center (formerly Rainier Valley Cultural Center) is Southeast Seattle’s premier performing arts center, featuring music, dance, theater, film festivals and community events.
